Will my lip filler hurt ?
You may need experience some mild discomfort however within the dermal filler injection contains lidocaine (which is a numbing agent ) so each injection point is numbing you while you go.
Some points of the lip are less painful than others but with the lidocaine being present in the filler makes the experience a lot manageable.
Do I do consultations?
Yes, I offer a free consultation for any treatments to discuss any worries or concerns you may have.
How long will my swelling on my lips last?
This Varies from person to person, Some people are good healers, some are not.
I say wait 3-4 weeks for everything to settle.
Take into consideration that hot humid weather, hormone changes, feeling run down or drinking alcohol can make swelling worse.
I do provide a free after care package contain healing creams that helps speed up the process.
I’m scared of needles will this be a problem?
No, I have had over 10 years dental nursing experience and dealt with nervous Patients so it’s not usual for me to deal with needle phobias.
If fact many clients that have had a fear of needles have got over their phobia with some great breathing exercises I offer during the treatment.
If you are feeling very anxious before your appointment contact me and I’ll book extra time out so you don’t feel rushed.
Can filler go wrong ?
Yes, everything Carries risk however I have extensive advanced complications training that ensures your safety at all times.
Stocking all emergency prescription medicines in case of an emergency along first aid training you will be safe.
I have allergies will this effect my treatments ?
I offer a free consultation to discuss any allergies you may have. Mild allergies such as Hayfever are fine.
However, if you have severe Allergies as in nuts, or bee/wasp stings I would strongly recommend you not to have the treatments as this could results in anaphylaxis.
How long will my anti wrinkle treatment last?
This treatment Varys from person to person.
Minimum 12 weeks max 6 months.
Some clients break the toxins down a lot quicker than others.
My anti-wrinkle treatment is not working ?
Botulinum toxin is not an instant treatment. Some people notice their treatment working on day three some people notice it working on day seven.
We do not offer a top up until day 14.
Can I share my anti wrinkle treatment with my friend ?
Absolutely not, botulinum toxin is a prescription based medication which is only prescribed for you and you only.
After 14 days, if you do not use it, it gets discarded.
Will I bruise?
It is hard to say whether you bruise or not, Each person is different with healing times.
I say go into it with an open mind off, I’m going to bruise and if I don’t it’s a bonus.
With all aesthetics treatments, you have to be prepared for bruising.
Big bruises such as haematomas come out instantly, whilst with other bruises you may have a little injection mark which goes within a few days.
I provide arnica gel which doesn’t prevent bruising, but it helps by bringing the bruising out quicker to speed up the healing time.
Avoid alcohol 48 hours prior to your appointment and try not to have any sugary drinks or caffeine just before your appointment.
